COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland's next game at Northwestern on October 28 will kick off at noon and air on the Big Ten Network, it was announced today. The game will also air on the Maryland Sports Radio Network.
Maryland (5-2, 2-2 Big Ten) will travel to Northwestern for the first time since 2020 and only second time ever next Saturday.
The Terps and Wildcats played last year in College Park with Maryland defeating Northwestern 31-24. Roman Hemby broke off a career-long 75-yard touchdown run with 3:22 left to play to put the Terps ahead before Beau Brade came up with a big interception on the Wildcats' ensuing drive to seal the victory. Hemby rushed for a career-high 179 yards and scored three touchdowns in the Terrapins' victory.
Northwestern (3-3, 1-2 Big Ten) had their bye week this past weekend and will travel to Nebraska this Saturday. The Wildcats are 3-1 at home with a win against Minnesota.
