Hard to believe, but the regular season comes to an end this afternoon. The Terps will face the Hoosiers in Bloomington in what is the only regular-season meeting between the teams. After a tough Feb., the Terps looked like the Terps of Nov.-Jan. in their win over Illinois the other day. Meanwhile, Indiana, a team that looked awful in the non-conference, has been playing tremendous basketball of late and clinched the B1G title outright with their win at Iowa.

Maryland looked much better against the Illini, but they are a very bad team, so while Maryland played well the other night, they are going to face much tougher competition the rest of the way. The Terps have looked better offensively of late, but defense has still been an issue against better teams. Indiana might be their biggest test yet defensively with their smaller lineup, ability to shoot the three and Yogi at the point. On top of that, it's going to be a hostile environment with this being Ferrell's senior day. We should have a much better idea of where this team is heading into post season play after today, as Indiana is a much better barometer than Illinois.

Line: Terps +4

Some pregame reading:
Small lineup could be a big factor at Indiana
