Set his new career-high for 3’s in a game with 8 (shot 8-11 3’s), scored 28 points in 28 minutes, caught fire with 17 points in 4th quarter including 5-5 from 3 - albeit in loss to Bucks as Giannis had 46. Huerter also recently had back-to-back games with 6 3’s and also recently had 9 assists, (Feb 28 - 1 shy of tying career-high) and an 8 assist game (March 6) Huerter’s big man teammate Sabonis (7’-0”) had 23 points, 17 rebounds and 15 assists tonight, becoming just the 2nd in Kings franchise history along with Oscar Robertson to go for at least 20-15-15. The Kings lead the Pacific Divsion (40-27) by 3 1/2 games over Phoenix and sit 3rd overall in the Western Conference but just 1 game out of 2nd. Kings currently own major pro sports longest playoff drought at 16 years, having not been to playoffs since 2005-06.
