COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women’s basketball team will host Goldey-Beacom College in its first exhibition match of the season Saturday at 1 p.m. at the XFINITY Center. Admission is free for all fans and parking will also be free and open.
Kids in seventh grade and under are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and participate in a Halloween costume contest at halftime. The winner will receive a free membership to the Lil' Terps Kids Club.

The exhibition matchup will be streamed live on the BTN2Go app, which is the official app of the Big Ten Network. It will be aBTN Plusproduction and will require an additional subscription. After winning the Big Ten regular season and tournament titles last year, the Terrapins were selected to win the Big Ten once again. Junior All-Big Ten honorees Brionna Jones and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough were voted to the Preseason All-Big Ten Teams by the coaches and media as well.
Maryland went 18-0 in Big Ten play in its first year in the league last year. Head coach Brenda Frese was named Big Ten Coach of the Year for the second time in her career.
Top-seeded Maryland went on to knock off undefeated Princeton in the NCAA Second Round. The Terrapins advanced to the Spokane Regional, where they beat Duke in the Sweet Sixteen, then second-seeded Tennessee in the Elite Eight to head to the Final Four in Tampa, Fla.
The Terrapins will host Indiana University of Pennsylvania Wednesday at 7 p.m. in their final free exhibition match before the start of regular season. The Terps-Hawks exhibition matchup will be streamed through BTN2Go. Parking will be free and open after 4 p.m.
