Games thru 10/3/2105:
Terps:

Scoring Defense #95, 31.8 points allowed per game.
Total Defense #109, 449 yards allowed per game.

Scoring Offense #99, 23.6 points per game.
Total Offense #114, 332 yards per game.

Time of Possession #112, 26 minutes per game.

Statistically, some of the worst numbers I can remember for a Terp football team.

If Edsall is let go mid season, who would be the interim head coach...one of the coordinators who have put up these kind of numbers? Not a solution to help the season get better. Just wait till the season ends and fire Randy and both coordinators, but keep Locks as recruiting coordinator. No way should either of the coordinators be considered for a head coaching job.

Not sure of the NCAA rules on contacting coaches, but would Maryland even be able to send out "feelers" to current NCAA coaches as possible candidates to replace RE, or would Maryland have to wait until their respective season ends?
