Captains: Wes Brown (offense), Quinton Jefferson (defense), Will Likely (special teams)

Scout Team Players of the Week: Eric Rocca (offense), Elvis Dennah (defense), Tehuti Miles (special teams)

Flag Bearers: Anthony Nixon (American), Yannick Ngakoue (Maryland)

Uniform: Throwback red jerseys, Throwback white pants, Throwback helmet

On the tight ends and the depth chart: PJ Gallo will be a starter in one personnel and Avery Edwards will still basically be a starter in other packages.

On last year's controversy: No discussion on it other than from a game plan standpoint. Says they addressed anything to do with that last year and he expects the team to show great sportsmanship this week.

On how Shane Cockerille is looking: He's been getting some reps all along as they have some wildcat situations that they put in and used against Ohio State. But with what they are now doing offensively, with his skill set being similar to that of Perry and with Perry having taken some shots last week a couple of weeks ago. But he's no longer in the RB meeting room and now back with the QBs and he will still be playing special teams this week.

On Will Likely playing offense: Says they have always had a Will package. He's always been chomping at the bit to play some offense and it's something they have always been interested in. But they got the ok to put the package together and you saw him in there last game. But they might put him in on offense this week when they need a play made or need a spark on offense.

On the freshman O-linemen: Damian Prince has had some tough matchups the past few weeks but they are pleased with the progress he's made. With Derwin Gray, he's gotten a bunch of practice reps and he's ready to be a contributor in some fashion.

On being down on the sidelines: Doesn't expect to have any butterflies. Says he'll still have that rock gut feeling you have before a game playing all of the scenarios out and having all of the game management stuff and still remaining focused on game planning. But obviously I'll be pretty excited about the opportunity to get back on the field with these players.

On the past 10 days: Says the biggest thing is that the team is confident and that confidence comes from an underdog mentality that they feel is advantageous for them. They have the ability to take risk and let it all hang out and not have all of the pressure on themselves. And they feel like you can play your best when you don't have all of that pressure on you and they can play loose and enjoy the moment.
