In addition to being named the Freshman of the Year, Mikesell was also named First Team All-Big Ten by the media, Second Team by the coaches and a All-Freshman Team honoree.

Frese was selected by both the coaches and the media as the Big Ten Coach of the Year after leading Maryland to 25 wins and a 15-3 mark in Big Ten play which secured the outright Big Ten Championship for the fourth time in five years. This is Frese's third Big Ten COTY (2002, 2015, 2019) and fifth league honor (ACC 2013, MAC 2000).

Charles was a unanimous First Team All-Big Ten selection by both the coaches and the media for the second year in a row after leading Maryland with 16 points per game, shooting .493 percent from the field. In total, Charles has posted 463 points, 186 rebounds, 64 assists, 37 steals and 18 blocks during the regular season. Charles was named the Big Ten Player of the Week once this season and placed on the honor roll three additional times.

Jones earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors by the media and an honorable mention selection by the coaches after averaging 13 points and 6.2 rebounds during the regular season. Jones shot 42.5-percent from the field and reached double figures 22 times this season. This marks the first Big Ten honors for Jones.

Austin earned a spot on the All-Big Ten defensive team after securing a Maryland freshman record 77 blocks this season, a mark that ranks second in the Big Ten and seventh in the country. Austin is averaging 10.5 rebounds per game, the fourth best mark in the league and is averaging 8.4 points. In addition to her All-Defensive Team recognition, Austin earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team with Mikesell as well being named an honorable mention selection by the media.

Mikesell and Austin are the 26th and 27th Terrapins to earn All-Freshman Team honors, and the 17th and 18th under Frese.

Junior Sarah Myers was honored with a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
