Starts by saying things obviously didn't go the way they wanted, but it was a good lesson in adversity. But Michigan St. is a very well coached defense and have great respect for what they do.

Says he studied MSU before the season started. With the personel they had coming back, you expected them to keep going along. But when you lose a WB some thought was the best in the draft, you can understand some drop off.

On tight ends, says a lot of their lack of production is because of personel. But says they do need to get them more involved.

On Pigrome, he got a bit of a head start in the summer, but the best way to get better is repetition. Good news is, he's getting repetitions. Bad news is that he's getting them so early. But he's a confident kid.

Says if his 25 or so rushes, maybe 5 were by design. Adds that Perry has been a great mentor for Piggy.

On Levern blocking, says they do perimeter hitting drill every day and to see him embrace it has been big.

Says there has been no difference in Durkin this week. He's always intense and stays even through the highs and lows.

For Piggy, environments really don't effect him much. The more important thing is how he responds this week after facing adversity.
