With their fans' heads hanging heavy and tongues wagging wildly in College Park after the Bowling Green debacle, the Terps come into Week 3 with a new starting quarterback, Caleb Rowe.

Yet another day of long punt returns by Will Likely brings great field position, and the Terps' running game gets retracked, with Brandon Ross and Wes Brown both scoring. Brad Craddock knocks two field goals through the uprights and provides the difference.

Maryland 27 South Florida 21.
