The Falcons of Bowling Green State University, coming to Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium at noon on Saturday, September 12, possibly still stinging from their thumping, in Nashville (tip of the hat to Russ), by the University of Tennessee, nonetheless present a challenge to the Terps.

Demonstrating an ability to move the ball effectively, especially to the outside, and an ability to score, but also to be scored upon, the over-under on this game definitely will end up on the high side.

Over the course of the game, Maryland's ground attack, so effective against Richmond, continues to excel, and special teams again score via the soaring presence of Will Likely. Additionally, Maryland QB Perry Hills connects with receivers on a number of big plays, and increases his passing yardage considerably from game 1.

Though the lead changes hands several times in the first half, the Terps' superior size and strength on the offensive line proves the difference, and Maryland goes to 2-0 with a 42-34 win.
