Was just so darn excited to be in the tournament, been a few years since he was last in tourney.

Says the number in front of the team is just that, a number. Valpo is a good team and won a lot of games.

Says the team might have put too much stock in Lunardi's bracket picks and kind of expected to be a 3-seed in the East. So might have been a little disappointed. Says he had a hint they could possibly ended up a 4 in Columbus but didn't say anything to the team.

Says he wasn't surprised to see 7 teams from the B1G make the tourney, the league is deep and many teams had good RPI/BPI/etc numbers.

It's 4 hours to Pitt and 6 hours to Columbus, so just a couple of extra hours drive for the fans to make this pod vs. Pitt. Says the fan turnout in Chicago was great, several thousand Terp fans there and hoping for a great turnout in Columbus.

Seeding is the hardest part and it's even harder with the regionalization they do now trying to allow fans to travel to see their teams. Sometimes seeding might be a little off to help keep teams closer to home (apparently unless you are Maryland lol)

It is what it is as far as seeding. Says they will start watching film on Valpo tomorrow and try to beat them and move on to the Round of 32.

It's so important to make the NCAA tournament, have won a good number of games but haven't made the tournament until now, so it's huge. Big for respect, recruiting, the fan base, etc.

Doesn't know a whole lot about Valpo, knows Scott Drew and knows Bryce hit that big shot in the dance several year ago. Watched a little bit of their last game and says they look like a good team.
