Pat caught up with 2021 top 20 PG Cam Hayes about his unofficial visit to Maryland over the weekend and it sounds like things went great. So great, that he's planning an official visit a little later in early fall. It is worth noting that he says he's planning on visiting Maryland AFTER NC State and Tennessee. That could definitely work in the Terps' favor. It also helps that he has family in the area. The other team to look out for here is Louisville, but the Terps might be in a better spot with Hayes than any of the other point guards they are recruiting at the moment. Note too, that he basically told Pat it is a forgone conclusion that he's going to be 2020.
