There is some online noise that Widner is headed to the New York Red Bull. Supposedly, since he played for the Red Bull Academy he doesn't have to go to MLS through the draft; he can be signed directly -- same reason why Ethan White was able to sign with DC United. Do you have any 411 on this?

Everything I've seen around the net and talked to a few people , well the kid is still with Maryland. Don't know how this started.

Bigger question is when is Maryland releasing their fall schedule. They're late. Must of been some cancellations on the soccer schedule with other schools and Sasho is trying to plug in the reschedules.
