We had one of the top coaches in all of the NCAA in Bobby Ross and the UMD chased him away. Bobby then went on to win a national title at Georgia Tech and then took the San Diego Chargers to the Super Bowl. We almost had a top shelf coach in Mike Leach who is turning around the Washington State program in a reasonable time not to mention they almost beat number 8 Stanford last night. Now as many people mentioned when RE was hired, it would take a decade to make UMD football competitive again. Well. its year 5 plus at least 3 years which equal 8 even for you folks who think common core math makes sense. Other wise it could be 10 full years.
