Lindy's Sports released their college basketball preseason publication today and the Terps are very well represented. First ESPN and now Lindy's both have the Terps ranked preseason No. 1.
Lindy's has four of Maryland's five starters among the 25-best returning players in college basketball at their respective positions. They also have Diamond Stone on the preseason All-Big Ten second team and project him as the B1G Newcomer of the Year.
This is likely the first preseason publication of several that will have the Terps on top. Should Maryland earn the top ranking in the preseason AP poll, it would mark the first No. 1 ranking in program history.
