Everyone says the Terps are young. They have the 4 freshman but they
really arent young. They are a new team...new to each other in many ways
and certainly they have formed chemistry much faster than anyone could have
expected. But young??? NO. At the end of the game yesterday we had
Dez, Evan and Pack on the floor. All 3 of them are 5th year seniors and what???
Maybe each 23 years old? Their age and experience make a HUGE difference
when playing agoinst younger, less experienced players. I loved Evan's confidence at
the end of the game....holding the ball so HE could get fouled KNOWING he would make
the free throws. That confidence has been missing for much of the year for him.
I love this run...what 8 in a row? Hope we can get MSU a 3rd time today...it
wont be easy. But win or lose...I think a #3 seed has been secured! FEAR THE TURTLE!
