One of the things coach Turgeon pointed out after the Terps loss earlier this week to UNC was the fact that he needs to create more depth in Maryland's backcourt.

Melo Trimble and Rasheed Sulaimon played virtually the entire game against the Tar Heels and that high volume of minutes could really hurt the Terps down the stretch if they don't find someone that can take the load off of those guys.

Jaylen Brantley is the guy that everyone is waiting for to step up. He's only played seven games of major Division-I college basketball, so to have expected him to come out guns blazing this season might have been a bit much. But he said yesterday that he is starting to settle in now, so hopefully he can have a bigger impact moving forward.

Tonight's game against St. Francis (Pa.) could provide Brantley with a good opportunity to do so. A full story with quotes is linked below.
