Although Melo Trimble has not been shooting the ball well recently, the sophomore point guard is showing immense growth in other areas of his game and is still a large part of the reason Maryland is 22-4 so far this season.

Even when he's not shooting well, Trimble has been able to find his open teammates and has nearly doubled his assists per game from last year. And while it's been tough for him to get calls at times this season, Trimble has done an excellent job in the Terps' last two games of scoring from the charity stripe.

With that being said, Maryland's loss to Wisconsin was as what Turgeon called an "eye-opener" and the Terps realize they need to get better on offense. A large part of that will involve getting Trimble back on track shooting the ball. A story on this is with quotes from Turgeon and starting shooting guard Rasheed Sulaimon is linked below.
