OK, we'd all love instant success. That game yesterday, Ped State - depressing. But consider that we all also agree that this program has suffered from self inflicted eff ups for quite a few years now.
If you ask me, the number 1 thing this program needs is a best in class strength and conditioning program. We are getting manhandled on both sides of the ball, and we will never win if we can't develop players from when they come in to when they leave. #2, get some creative OC and DC. Our defense yesterday made their QB look like an All American, and we didn't adjust. If Locks will pull the trigger on a couple of coaches at the end of the year, I will have hope.
Lastly, while you are spending all this money on new facilities, please please figure out how to improve access in and out of CP on game day. I won't go to games anymore cause it is just a total pain in the ass getting in and out, and the pre-game experience is just Blah.
Complain all you want about Loh, Anderson, Edsall, etc. Fact is, Locks is the coach and we have to hope that he will upgrade the staff, and that he will also upgrade the talent, and ultimately the tradition and expectations of competitiveness for this program. Getting tired of the change of direction every few years. Pick a course. Execute. Make it work.
