So a few fans have asked me to post what I got and why. This list is backed my knowledge I have as well as most logical choices. Please don't ask for heavy detail because I do not want to jeopordize the process. I just want people to know in no way are some of the clowns of football coming here.

1st tier
1a Herman (MENSA member, knows B1G, recruits Texas and Ohio, national champion ring, charismatic)
1b Mullen (Smaller football budget at MISS state, UMD is a step up)
1c Feunte (Hot coach, Patterson protege)
1d O'brien (Imagine O'brien tutoring Haskins on being a QB)

2nd tier
Matt Cambell
Mike Norvell (can coach a scoring offense)
Frank Reich (in line for NFL job, good enough for me)
Chip Kelly (due to his rebuttal of NCAA positions, but look for us to revisit this in late November)
Scott Frost (nebraska alum, but knows offense well)

3rd Tier:
Dino Barbers (good offense, but obviously couldn't care less about defense)
Matt Pruit (Defensive coordinator, but awesome recruiter)
Mike Locksley (If he finishes well, he deserves a shot)
Gus Mahlzahn if fired by Auburn

Zero interest on Maryland:
Kirby Smart
Al Golden

zero interest on coach:
Jon Gruden, Cliff Klingsburry,Mike Gundy,Gary Patterson, Charlie Strong, Sean Payton, Jon Harbaugh,

Need not apply status
Greg Schiano, Matt Ruhle, Rich Rod, Lane Kiffin, Bret Bieliema, Mike London, Mack Brown, anyone that Vinny Cerrato or Pete Volk pull out of their butt with no information of forethought.

Like I said with Randy, our admin was ready for this eventuality. They also were ready to go after guys who are available. They also are ready to go after guys on this list and a few more that MIGHT become available.

There is no rush, there is no man in place, what there is a collective effort to make sure football coaches everywhere know we are committed to football, will pay our coach market value, and Under Armour is backing us.

Rules of new coach:

No retreads
No old guys way past their prime
No morally corrupt coaches
No boring stubborn coaches
No guys out of football for extended periods of time
No coaches who are coaching at their alma mater

So when someone suggest someone like Schiano he is a boring stubborn jerk, when someone suggest Klingsburry he is NEVER leaving Texas Tech willingly.

So enjoy the season, the admin is playing this close to the vest, it is doing its homework and getting ready to go hard for their guys with the Red Under Armour carpet when all the pieces are on the board.

I have confidence we will get our man.
