If the argument is that when Haskins arrives he will be creating the game plan, getting the rest of team to buy in, making the in game adjustments and giving the half time locker room pep talks, then bring him on.
Seems like a daunting task for a Frosh that has not played a minute of D1 football.
As I am always reminded when I question "why so many 2 star recruits?" It is not about the stars.
Today I learned good coaching can overcome highly rated recruits.
As with any coach, the first half performance on both sides of the ball must be taken with a grain of salt.
Much on O is scripted based on game films and there is a feeling out period early in the game for what each offense is trying to accomplish. Yes the argument here would be that both teams get to prepare equally so it comes down to execution and buying in for that game plan.
But what separates the wheat from the chaff is the mid game adjustment and motivating your team to believe they are never "out of it".
RE demonstrated that he lacks in both departments.
as far as the two coaches I think we all saw an up and comer on the opposing sideline. KA might want to check on his availability. BG was poised, disciplined and executed their game plan as well as any coach could ask. They surely looked like the team that put up strong numbers offensively against Tenn.
My guess is we would not have turned in nearly the performance BG had against Tenn.
last year the ball bounced the Terps way many times, I am afraid this year will not be the same.
We saw a 2 and 10 team today and I hope they have the ability to bounce back or it will be a long season.

There is a movement underfoot and it is really about selling the hometown school and too just represent where your from. I sure hope poor coaching and game planning all season long does not derail the "movement".
When the "big boys" start showing up on the schedule they are going have a field day with this team and then they will pillage our recruits.
