Normally, I wouldn't bother reaching out to a random prospect from Missouri, but as I posted in my notes last week, I had a real good talk with a few people in relation to recruiting last Thursday and Friday.
When I talked to one of the people I speak with, they were extremely high on Columbia native Jaevon McQuitty. I was told that the staff thinks he's going to be a 20+ offer prospect, likely a four-star, if evaluated properly. I was also told that the staff believes they're off to a good start with McQuitty, so that's the main reason I reached out.
Sure enough, he's speaking with Cory Robinson 2-3x a week already. This has been going on for six weeks now. He also has already had discussions with his parents about visiting in the spring. He's travelled long distance to other schools, so I do believe there is a real chance he does make it to College Park. The only thing I could see disrupting that is a flood of offers from elite schools in the coming weeks.
