We caught up with Tony Carr over the weekend in Hampton where both Mark Turgeon and Cliff Warren followed him and Team Final closely. Carr said he talks with Terps assistant Cliff Warren 3 or 4 times a week and really enjoyed College Park and following the team this past season.
Carr looked really good. In fact, he reminded me a bit of Trimble. He has good vision, can score at all three levels and looked pretty comfortable in the pick and roll. He finished the weekend 2nd in assists, averaging 5 per game.
Since Sunday, he's picked up a bunch of offers including FSU, Indiana, Iowa, Pitt and Xavier. The Terps are in a pretty good spot here should they decide to really push.
