I caught up with OL Richard Merritt to talk about his trip to Maryland for practice on Saturday. He's tough to get a read on. He says Maryland is one of the schools currently standing out, so that's positive, but where they specifically stand, he was very short when it comes to specifics.
I think that, right now, the Terps are definitely in his top 10. I don't know if they're definitely in his top five, but they're probably right on the cusped of that. We won't really know who's truly standing out until the summer or potentially even the fall, when he begins setting official visits.
