I've been able to learn about a handful of prospects that are expected to make the trip to College Park this upcoming weekend.
LB Keith Simms is currently the most notable player. I posted his official visit details earlier in the week and I expect him to be in attendance for multiples games this fall, so things continue to look great with Simms.
Class of 2017 DE Ethan Wiederkehr is another player making the trip. Wiederkehr's school plays most of its games on Saturday. In fact, he told me that he plays just two games on Friday all year, one of which is this upcoming week. So, that's a positive sign for the staff. He'll have one other opportunity to take a visit in October, but outside of that, he can't really visit any other schools until November, and that'll also hinge on playoffs.
Another prospect that I'm watching is OL Ryan Solt. I haven't spoken with Solt yet. I was just informed about him via contacts. I should be able to get an answer then.
UPDATED: Wednesday - 8 PM - I spoke with Solt this evening. He confirmed Saturday's visit.

Just confirmed that Rivals250 LB Avery Roberts will be at Maryland this weekend. That's a big one. He's probably the most talented player Ive confirmed so far.
