Was speaking with a colleague this morning and he was telling me, in talking to a few AP voters he knows over the last few days, they are all saying they will likely be picking the Terps No. 1 in their preseason poll. In talking with another voter myself a few days ago, I heard the same.
So just getting a vibe from a handful of voters and assuming they are a solid representation of all voters, very good chance the Terps earn their first-ever No. 1 AP ranking to open the season. October 17 will be here before you know it!
