Some notes from today's practice....
On the injury front, freshman TE Malik Jackson and Rayshad Lewis were both absent today. Jake Funk was in pads, but off to the side with trainers riding a bike.
Dontay Demus continues to look ready for a huge breakout season at WR. He had a few big plays today. DJ Turner also continues to impress at WR. We've seen this from Turner in camp before, now it is time for it to translate onto the field on Saturdays.
Pigrome seemed to be running more with the 1s and Jackson with the 2s, but the groups seemed to be split up some, so not sure I would read too much into it. Still feel Jackson will be named the starter.
Brett Kulka is back out there and looking healthy. Having Kulka back is going to be big with such a thin group up front on defense.
And once again, Pecorella seemed to be booming the bigger punts of the two freshmen between himself and Spangler. The Anne Arundel Co. native was very highly praised when he committed, but it is looking like Pecorella is the more likely to win the job at this time. Still, always good to have two big booming freshman punters. They should both only get better.
