Although he has not YET gotten full release, he's allowed to contact other schools. Articles are referring to the situation as "opening" his recruitment until he gets the formal release if I understand correctly. Considered by some as a high-major wing, sounds like a kid worth taking a look at.
Eric Paschall of Fordham averaged like 15 or 16 ppg as a freshman, a 6'6 player scoring wing. I have no knowledge of whether the Terps will or not, but have heard good things about game, haven't seen him play either. Believe he would have three years of eligibility from what i've read...just a name that you might hear more about, maybe not with the Terps though.
Footnote: apparently transferring in the aftermath of the firing of their coach, just came across a zagsblog.com aticle that added that piece of information to the equation. Kid is from Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. There's a video of him playing, he looks like a player who gets putbacks and dunks alot of shots with some athleticism in the video I saw.
Fordham is apparently still in the mix.
