Philly four-star SF DeAndre Hunter has cut his list to 11 and the Terps made the cut.
Hunter visited UVA last week and the they appear to be going after him hard after just recently entering the race. They have just one scholarship remaining.
Maryland has been on him for a while now and lead recruiter Cliff Warren has stayed in constant contact.
"My relationship with the staff is good," Hunter told TSR a couple of weeks ago. "They stay in touch daily with calls and texts." He also added that his visit to College Park last fall was "probably the nicest one I've been to so far."
As of now, I think the teams to watch here are UVA, Villanova and Maryland. Miami is another school he seemed high on but I definitely think location could play a factor. We'll also have to see if Maryland pushes here and what happens with some others like Huerter, Gabriel and Jackson when they visit in a couple of weeks.
