Slightly off topic, but I thought this was interesting, meant to post the other day....So reigning NBA MVP Steph Curry (and apparently Kevin Plank) are in the Far East for the next few days on a promo tour (they are using hashtag #UARoadshow to promote) and will apparently drop the first limited release of the new Curry Two in China this weekend.
Thought this was an interesting strategy and one that could pay big dividends down the road. NBA is huge in China, in large parts thanks to Yao Ming. If you can get the youth of China wearing UA basketball shoes, well, that's likely going to be big for future growth.
