I have a question for you; why do you feel the need to demean people that you don't even know based on their looks, their lifestyle choices, hairdos or disabilities? Certainly, in our great country, you have every right to use whatever words you want. I just have always wondered why you feel the need to be so offensive on a public internet board. For example, as a long time supporter and Board Member of Special Olympics, I find your regular use of the word retard disgusting. Number one, the men and women who compete suffer from a disability not of their choosing. They are regularly shunned in public. And all they really want is to have the same types of human interactions that the rest of us have. Ask yourself this - if you were to volunteer at a Special Olympics event in Frederick, would you call one of these athletes retard to their face? I kinda doubt it. Likewise, if you saw a person hobbling down the street with canes and two prosthetic legs, would you call them gimp?
You can say whatever you want, you can hold whatever opinions you want, but gratuitous and mean spirited comments about others based on physical characteristics doesn't make you witty, nor does it make you appear as someone who should be listened to. You just come off as mean and ignorant.
