Josh Jackson - The Terps offered the No. 1 player in 2016 this weekend and he had arguably the top performance of any player on any of the main shoe circuits this spring on Saturday. Jackson went off for 41 points on Saturday morning, going 19-24 from the field, including 3-5 from beyond the arc. The 6-6 guard added seven rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block for good measure. He should be one of the most hotly pursued players in the country.

Curt Jones - While he struggled shooting the ball at times when TSR saw him in Hampton, Jones showed once again this past weekend why he's so highly coveted by the Terps staff. On Saturday morning, Jones went off for 23 points vs. Mean Streets in a loss, going 8-13 from the field, including 4-6 from beyond the arc. He added four rebounds for good measure.

Then on Sunday in his team's final game of the weekend, Jones went off for 28 points vs. Howard Pulley, again in a loss. Jones shot 10-18 from the field and made eight(!) threes, going 8-14 from beyond the arc. In his team's four games this past weekend in Lexington (Ky.), Jones averaged 20.8 points per game, making 17 threes and shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc.

Markelle Fultz - Arguably the top player in the DMV in the Class of 2016, Markelle Fultz is one of the Terps' top prospects. He had head coach Mark Turgeon as well as assistant Cliff Warren watching him throughout the weekend in Louisville. Fultz scored 20-plus in three of the the Blue Devils' four games this past weekend, finishing with a high of 26 points in a win over Team Superstar on Saturday, shooting an efficient 60 percent from the field and knocking down a pair of triples. Fultz also grabbed six rebounds and had two steals in the game.

Trevon Duval - The 2017 guard prospect who picked up a Terps offer a couple of weeks ago, playing up a level at 17U, continued his torrid play this past weekend in Louisville on the Under Armour circuit with WE-R1. Duval finished the weekend averaging 17.5 points per game to go along with 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. In the final game of the weekend, he also helped shut down UNC commit Jalek Felton on the defensive end of the floor. Don't be surprised if Duval quickly becomes the Terps' top guard prospect in 2017. He's a quick, explosive point guard that could have a Kyrie Irving-like effect from the day he sets foot on campus.

Quade Green - The other half of WE-R1's dynamic backcourt, Philly product Quade Green has also been playing well through the first two live periods. His biggest performance last weekend in Louisville came against Baltimore's representative on the Under Armour circuit, B'more's Finest. Green finished the game with 24 points, going 5-11 from beyond the arc and 7-9 from the charity stripe. Green also added five rebounds, three assists and two steals. He's on the smaller size at 6-foot, but he's proving that he is one of the best scoring guards in the nation.

Lamar Stevens - The bruising wing forward who picked up a Terps offer last week had a huge performance to open up the weekend in Lexington, scoring 30 points, pulling down seven rebounds and adding a pair of steals and a block. Stevens got to the line 15 times in the win, making 12 of his 15 attempts from the stripe. After two sessions, Stevens leads the EYBL in made free throws. Getting to the line is something the Terps were very good at this past season.

Stevens is at his best attacking the basket and boxing out on the blocks. He is an excellent offensive rebounder and regularly scores on put backs. The Terps have lacked this type of wing forward that will do the dirty work inside in recent years and are high on the Philly product.

Tony Carr - Stevens' Team Final teammate Tony Carr continued to impress last weekend, averaging 14.8 points, 4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in Lexington. At 6-5, he's the type of guard Maryland would like to pair with Anthony Cowan and is one of several top prospects from Philly that the Terps are targeting. Turgeon, of course, spent a year in Philly with former 76ers coach Larry Brown.

Anthony Cowan - Speaking of Mr. Cowan, he had a huge game on Saturday morning in a tight loss, finishing with 29 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Although he only shot 8-19 from the field, including 2-8 from beyond the arc, he was able to get to the free throw line 15 times, going 11-15 from the stripe.

Cowan finished the weekend in Indy averaging 20 points per game and he is currently 4th overall in assists (5.4 apg) on the adidas circuit.

Mario Kegler - Perhaps the hottest name on the adidas circuit this past weekend in Indy was elite wing Mario Kegler of Arlington Country Day in Florida. Kegler is a physical specimen with a college-ready body at 6-7, 210. He went off for 31 point, 11 rebound double-double on Saturday, going 5-7 from beyond the arc. He finished the weekend averaging 23.8 points and 7 rebounds per game. Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon was in Indy on Saturday and got a chance to watch Kegler in-person. He will be tough to pull out of the south, but the Terps are involved.

Kevin Huerter - The Terps went in-home with Huerter last week and seem to immediately be making him a priority. At 6-5, like Tony Carr, Huerter has the kind of height and length that would make him the perfect kind of guard to pair with current commit Anthony Cowan. Huerter has point guard skills but he also can shoot the ball from deep, making him an excellent combo guard prospect.

In the City Rocks' first game of the weekend in Lexington against the always-powerful Oakland Soldiers, Huerter went off for 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a steal. Huerter is now tied for 10th in made three pointers with 19, while he is currently tied for 14th overall in assists per game at 3.6.

Cassius Winston - The Terps travelled to Detroit last week to watch four-star guard Cassius Winston workout. He currently leads the Nike EYBL in scoring (22.1 ppg). Winston opened the weekend in Lexington with a 33-point performance and finished on Sunday scoring 28 points. The 6-foot guard has now scored 30-plus in three of his team's eight games in EYBL play. While on the shorter side, Winston is proving to be an elite scorer that can make shots at all three levels. He's shooting over 50 percent from the field, 83 percent from the charity stripe and over 45 percent from beyond the arc.

While the Terps are heavily involved, it will be difficult to pull Winston out of the state of Michigan. Tom Izzo has watched Winston numerous times this spring and Michigan is hot on his trail also. But the Terps have beat the odds before, having recently pulled five-star big man Diamond Stone from the Mid-West.
