So as I mentioned in the other thread, the deal is set to become official and officially announced soon. The deal is also expected to be roughly 100 million (98 million to be exact). But the new deal will be for 12 years instead of 10 like the current deal that was done in 2014.
So that comes out to just under 8.2 million per year, a significant bump from the previous deal but slightly less than the 10yr/100mil Notre Dame is getting. Still, I would say this is a very good deal and in-line with peer schools.
And it goes without saying, Plank has been EXTREMELY generous to the school over the years so this deal was pretty much a no brainer.
