Methinks he has a point, especially when I think about how we were shafted in the last two years in the seedings in the regions in which we were placed. Alternatively, look at Duke's seedings, and how they were often given a path toward victory. As well, look at how they paired teams to be matched up against each other, a la Ky vs Louisville.
I think they even tried to shaft us in 2002, when we were paired up with five teams that had previously won NCAA championships enroute to our ultimate victory. Also, it was interesting how we were paired up with Georgetown and Georgia State enroute to our final four.
It is indeed a business, and in reality, it's all about the money.
