Had planned on asking for this one this week, but Patrick Stevens beat me to it. Per his contract, new Terps basketball assistant Mike Jones is making 550K over the next year with a 300K base and 250K supplemental. As I had mentioned in another thread, I think with him making north of 500K (more than Skinn was making), there's a good chance that this next hire could be a promotion from within. Also interesting that it is a one-year deal. Would guess he'll be looking for a head job again next offseason and possibly be looking for a raise, depending on who else they bring in this offseason and how the team fares.
