The Rivals Camp was held in Miami this past weekend, and IMG Academy's Terrell Foster ended up winning the Linebacker MVP award. I had talked with Terrell prior to the camp and we were discussing the Maryland offer he landed last Monday.
"It actually happened all within one day. Coach Brawley followed me, then texted me. Apparently he was texting my teammates about me. I have been on their radar since the beginning of the season. He wanted me and gave me the offer."
Foster had previously earned offers from Boston College and Liberty, and is being heavily recruited by Ivy League schools. His interest in Maryland is high, but he has a lot of research yet to do on the school and program.
"Coach Brawley is really cool at Maryland. I am still learning being the fact I just got (the offer) earlier this week. I'm still trying to find out what happens up there and I plan on getting a visit up there this summer."
Northwestern is also showing interest, but has not yet offered. He plans to camp or visit Columbia, Yale and Liberty as well this summer.
Foster is on the smaller side for a linebacker, measuring 6-1, 192 on Sunday, and schools see him as more of a WILL linebacker who can play in space. His proficiency in coverage was on display Sunday, helping earn Foster the MVP award.
