...2018 6-foot-6 SF Nassir Little of Oakleaf HS in Jacksonville, Florida last week according to his Showtime Hoops coach Darryl Hardin. Cliff Warren made the call to Coach Hardin to talk about Little who right now is an athletic slasher who can finish through contact and knock down jump shots off the catch with range just beyond the three-point line. Like all freshmen he needs to work on his skills but he has a very high floor.
I've seen him with his HS team three times:
The first time he had 16 points, seven rebounds and six blocks in a 6A regular season game (Florida goes up to 8A)
The second time I saw him he had 28 pts, nine rebs, seven blks & two stls in a 6A District 2 playoff game
The third time I saw him he had 11 points and 11 rebounds but wasn't much of a factor in the second half of the 6A District 2 championship game
It's very early in Little's recruitment and he is expected to grow to 6-foot-8. He'll be fun to watch. He's reportedly a 4.0 student and son of a Navy man.
