Maryland basketball announces national TV schedule and start times

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's basketball team is scheduled to have at least 30 games televised nationally, including four games on network television, as announced Thursday by the Big Ten Conference.

Maryland's four network television selections are its most since joining the Big Ten Conference.

Ranked in the preseason top-10 in virtually every national poll, the Terps are scheduled to appear in the regular season twice on CBS, twice on FOX, 10 times on ESPN's family on networks, six times on FS1 and eight times on Big Ten Network.

Highlights of the TV schedule include:
  • Indiana at Maryland; Jan. 4, Noon; FOX
  • Maryland at Indiana; Jan. 26, 1 pm; CBS
  • Maryland at Michigan State; Feb. 15, 6/8 pm; ESPN/ESPN2
  • Maryland at Ohio State; Feb. 23, 4 pm; CBS
  • Michigan State at Maryland; Feb. 29, 4/6/8 pm; ESPN/ESPN2
  • Michigan at Maryland; March 8, Noon; FOX
Time and television designation for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge game on Dec. 4 against Notre Dame will be announced at a later date.
