Pat caught up with Compass Prep assistant coach Pete Kaffey, who was in constant contact with four-star 7-footer Chol Marial throughout his visit. Marial left College Park without committing, but by all accounts, it sounds like he thoroughly enjoyed the visit. If Maryland is the choice, I expect it to happen sooner than later, possibly in the next couple of days. Should he chose to take additional visits, I think Maryland's chances of landing him go down substantially. We'll see what happens in the next day or two, but Maryland has put themselves in a good spot.
