COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland-Villanova football game, set to be played at SECU Stadium on September 21, will kickoff at Noon and be broadcast on Big Ten Network, it was announced on Monday.
Maryland (1-1) has won 13 straight non-conference games, the second longest streak in the nation. The Terps are 9-2 all-time against the Wildcats, including nine straight wins, but the teams haven't met since 2007.
Villanova (2-0) is coming off a 28-3 win at Colgate last week and is set to host Towson this Saturday. The Wildcats reached the quarterfinal round of the 2023 FCS Playoffs before falling to eventual National Champion South Dakota State.
The game against Villanova will be part of the University of Maryland's Family Weekend.
The Terps travel to Virginia (2-0) for their first road game of the season this Saturday. The game will kickoff at 8 p.m. and air on ACC Network. All Maryland football games can also be heard on the Maryland Sports Radio Network.
