A couple of interesting things I noticed:
1. We held them to 20 pts in the first half
2. I saw the upside in Checko (6 tough rebounds, strong defense and a couple of dunks). He gains weight and experience he can really help us next year.
3. Layman was OK. Had his moments but was outplayed by Sam Dekker. He also needs to put on weight and work on his ball handling. Hopefully he comes back to improve his game.
4. Dez Wells will be missed. He, along with Melo, willed us to win this game, both offensively and defensively.
5. Thank God we still have Melo. He will only grow better as he leads this team next year.
6. Will be interesting to see if we play a bit differently next year with Stone and Robert Carter Jr. A stronger post presence should help us not miss Dez as much.
