Rivals put out the initial hoops rankings for 2018 and no surprise, several top Maryland targets made the cut, including one who's told TSR that he'd likely commit on the spot if the Terps offered.
The player who would like to commit is local Mt. St. Joe's big man Jalen Smith, who comes in at No. 25 in the initial rankings. Below is a full list of players in the rankings Maryland is either already recruiting or I expect will be very soon:
