My reasons: 1. A loss is unlikely to bump us out of a third seed. 2. Winning the B1G is unlikely to get us a one seed. 3. I don't think a two seed or a three seed makes a lot of difference because I think the whole RPI/BPI is fundamentally flawed for determining which teams are the easiest to beat. 4. Winning the B1G is no guarantee that the geographic venue will be to our advantage. 5. The team could use the rest and three games back to back can be very tiring, even to twenty year old college kids. It's all about performing well in the Tourney.
