How About Demanding an Apology Lest We Cancel the WVU Football Game?

We are scheduled to play at West Virginia on September 26. I know we'd probably be sued, but I suggest our administration should take a stand on this in spite of it. An employee of the West Virginia University (one of the Huggins brood) used obscenity and accusations of criminal activity on the part of a man who was exonerated completely by the court system (Dez Wells).

I urge the administration to speak up mightily on this and demand an official apology and evidence that sanctions have been undertaken against the provocateur. Such behavior on the part of a WVU employee is reprehensible and we should do our utmost to protect our own.

Kevin Anderson has spoken up in response to Georgetown's refusal to schedule us in basketball and pulled all competition with them off the table. In my view, what happened Sunday night is every bit as bad -- and in some ways, worse. I hope that our administration, whether it be at the level of the President or the Athletic Director, make it clear that such behavior is not going to go unanswered.
