No surprise here, but Turgeon and the rest of the Maryland staff are prioritizing the Terps' top PG targets during this final evaluation period. Turge was spotted in Atlanta yesterday and today for the UA Finals where he watched top overall target Karim Mane.

Mane didn't play in his team's first game yesterday, but scored 11 points and added 3 assists in Canada Elite's second game. He didn't shoot the ball particularly well and had just a single rebound. If I had to guess, this kid is probably suffering from major jet lag flying all over the world and playing in all of these games.

Bill Self also watching Mane as is Kentucky, who is starting to get involved.

Bino was spotted out in Cali to kick things off at the Pangos Premier Showcase, a non-shoe affiliated tournament in LA. He was there to watch Daishen Nix last night, who is right at the top with Mane as one of the Terps' top PG targets. Nix says he plans on taking an official visit to Maryland in the fall and will likely wait until the spring to make a decision.

UCLA and Washington both had head coaches on hand for Nix yesterday and are major players, along with Kansas and possibly Kentucky.

New assistant DeAndre Haynes was spotted at the Adidas Summer Championship in Birmingham, Alabama. Among those he been watching are four-star center Zack Loveday, who recently picked up an offer, four-star wing Jalen Bridges and 2021 guard Seth Wilson, formerly of St. Mary's St. Vincent. He's picked up recent offers from WVU and Penn St. and has been attracting other Big Ten interest.

As he's done in recent years, expect Turgeon to make the short trip from Atlanta to North Augusta for Peach Jam this afternoon and tomorrow.
