So I just wanted to throw this out there.
Any coach we are looking at certainly has been watching Maryland since Randy left. Obviously the passion that was on display in Baltimore was impressive. We lost the game but as a fan that was a great game in terms of fan support.
Saturday is our Homecoming and our FIRST home game since Randy was fired. I really hope all you people who are concerned about our possible new head coaching situation are planning to attend the game. Most coaches we are going after want full stadiums. They are used to full stadiums or play in half empty ones already and want that luxury..
This is something you can do to actually help the process. It's up to the team to play hard and be in the game. The fans and students can show their support of the program.
All it takes is an ass kicking and a 1/2 empty stadium for another school to recruit a new coach against us and say why Maryland is not the place to coach at. We have New Cole, UA, B1G, recruiting grounds, a friendly admin, and a lot more cash. Those are all great things but the crowd does need to show up.
So I am hoping for those of you who are interested in getting one of these top coaches, you plan on showing up Saturday. You have no idea who will be watching or have a representative in attendance.

If we can have a good crowd that is important to showing we are hungry for good football here, if we can score a upset win at Homecoming that will be a feather in the hat during negotiations.
