About Robbie Rogers:

" Rogers was a revelation, racing onto the field Wednesday night, raising the tempo, which second-half subs are supposed to do. And his neat left-footed corner kick from the right side set up Jonathan Bornstein’s Cristiano Ronaldo-like header, as Bornstein bounded forward into the scrum. In the 95th minute. With the Yanks down a player because of Onyewu’s injury ".

Thanks to Petekam for finding the article in the NY Times.

Anyone who saw Rogers play his one year for the Terps would have known of this talent.

Good find,....

Interestting on Rogers, IMO he should of stayed at Maryland for one more year than bolting after his frosh year. Sasho would of had this kid more advanced along than when he signed with the Dutch club and end up sitting on the bench over across the pond. However I'll be the last person to knock a kid when it comes to chasing a few nickles.

Give the credit where it is due: PETEKAM found the article in the NY Times.
