I heard from a source this morning of an interesting meeting between Kevin Anderson and a major player on the grassroots level. Maryland definitely seems to be working behind the scenes to get everyone from the grassroots to the high school level and beyond on board with whoever the next head coach is going to be.
I'm also hearing now that if Mike Locksley isn't the guy as head coach, there are no assurances that he'll be back under a new coach. Not because the school doesn't want him, but of his own volition it sounds like. Obviously, I think anybody who comes in to the Maryland job would want to speak with him about finding him a spot on the staff, but it looks like the possibility of that happening is up in the air.
