Maryland's quartet of grad transfers wasted little time on Saturday making their presence felt in a big way versus Howard, with Josh Jackson throwing four TD passes and earning offensive player of the week, while Tyler Mabry caught one of those TD passes. On defense, Keandre Jones finished with 1.5 sacks while Shaq Smith also recorded a sack of his own. They will be asked upon to step up again in Week 2 with a ranked Syracuse team coming to town.
