It was a special place for me while in college and immediately after college. I spent a LOT of time there and made many great friends that I still have today. Jim Paradiso was the owner back then but sold it about ten years ago. He has since passed from an auto accident but he was an incredible, caring person and his employees loved him. Sad to see Ratsie's go.
I was able to snag a piece of memorabilia from there before it closed. For those that remember, it was the big black and white ariel photo of the camps from 1952. I reframed it and it now is in the Terps man cave in my basement. It is now the most special piece in my collection.
